Thornæs Danish Whisky, Single Malt - Saga

Thornæs Danish Whisky – Saga is a truly unique edition, containing only 148 bottles bottled at cask strength. 

The Single Malt whisky has matured in new Danish Oak casks of only 50 litres in size. After 18 months the spirit was re-racked into one 1st fill Bourbon cask to help mellow the spirit and balance the intense flavours of the Danish oak.

As the whisky is based on our recipe of peated New Make, Saga is a gathering of everything you could desire from a small batch whisky. Intense flavours of sweet vanilla, toffee and fruit combined with complex tannins, dark nuttiness, aromatic spices and of course our signature peaty smoke that arrives late on the palate but lingers long in the aftertaste.

Saga is the last edition within our Uncharted Series.
